-If 조건절 유형 #1
-차가 많으면, 2시간 넘게 걸려.

If there is a lot of traffic, it takes over(more than)2 hours. 

-If 조건절 유형 #2
-저는 경험이 많지 않아서, 시간이 오래 걸려요. 
제가 경험이 많으면, 오래 걸리지 않을 거에요.

I don't have any experience, so it takes a lot of time. If I had a lot of experience, it wouldn't take so long.

 

-If 조건절 - 미래
1. 어떤 조건 하에 나의 의지/계획

-이번 주말에 비가오면, 나는 집에 있을 거야.

If it rains this weekend, I'm going to stay home.

-그녀가 물어보면, 난 아무것도 모르는 척 할 거야.

If she asks, I'm just going to pretend I don't know anything.

-오늘 일찍 퇴근하면, 친구들 만나서 한잔 할꺼야.

If I get off work early today, I'm going to meet up with some friends for some drinks.

-이런 일이 또 일어나면, 그들은 모든 것을 잃을거야.

If this happens again, they're going to lose everything.

 

2. 어떤 조건 하에~을 할 수도 있다/할지도 모른다/해도 된다/하면 된다

-너가 싫으면, 환불 할 수 있어.

If you don't like it, you can return it/ send it back.

-공부를 정말 열심히 하면, 시험에 합격할지도 모른다.

If you study really hard, you might pass the test.

-너가 늦으면, 그냥 택시 타도 돼.

If you're late, you can just take a taxi.

-너가 그녀에게 사실을 말하면, 그녀는 이해할지도 모른다. 

If you tell her the truth, she might understand.

-배가 고프지 않으면 먹지 않아도 돼.

You don't have to eat if you're not hungry.

 

3. 조동사+조동사 or 시제+조동사

-내가 돈을 충분히 못 모으면, 빌려야 될 수도 있어.

If I can't save enough money, I might have to borrow some.

-마이클이 오늘 회의에서 프레젠테이션을 할 예정이야. 하지만 그가 늦으면, 너가 해야될 수도 있어.

Michael is supposed to give a presentation in the meeting today. But if he's late, you might have to do it.

-그들이 우리를 도와주지 않으면, 우린 시간 안에 끝낼수 없을거야.

If they don't help us, we won't be able to finish this on time.

-우리가 지금 떠나면, 마지막 차를 (아마도) 탈 수도 있어.

If we leave(go) now, we might be able to catch the last train/bus. 

-날씨가 정말 좋으면, 우리는 산책 나갈 수 있을 거야.

If the weather is really clear(nice), we're going to be able to go for a walk.
